Murray Pond Park September 22, 2018

The Greater Victoria Green Team spent the beautiful Saturday morning cutting and digging back invasive Himalayan Blackberry from Murray Pond Park with 16 community members!

Highlights

  • 15 volunteers were engaged and contributed 47 volunteer hours
  • 12 of the volunteers had never been to Murray Pond Park
  • 7 of the volunteers had never removed Scotch Broom before
  • We removed 4 cubic metres of broom
  • We revitalized an area measuring approx. 150 square metres!
