The Greater Victoria Green Team with funding support from the City of Colwood Community Grants and Canada Post Foundation, organized 48 students, teachers and GVGT volunteers in Murray Pond Park! We removed Himalayan Blackberry!

Highlights
- 48 volunteers participated including students from Royal Bay Secondary! In total 55 volunteer hours were contributed!
- 37 of the volunteers were introduced to removing Himalayan Blackberry
- We removed approximately 6 cubic metres of Himalayan Blackberry from an area measuring 40 square metres
