Jeanine joined the Lower Mainland Green Team in Fall 2024, bringing with her a deep passion for nature conservation and youth leadership. Growing up along British Columbia’s coastline, she developed a lifelong connection to the natural world and ever since has felt motivated to protect it. Jeanine holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Marine Biology from the University of Victoria. Since then, Jeanine has gained extensive experience leading grassroots initiatives focused on climate action and reducing plastic pollution. Her work spans public education, environmental compliance, and content creation, all with a goal of empowering people to live more sustainably and with collective action. Jeanine is thrilled to be a part of the Lower Mainland Green Team, where she looks forward to fostering community engagement and making a positive impact on local ecosystems through hands-on environmental projects
