Andrea is a passionate environmentalist who believes in empowering individuals and communities at the grassroots level to strengthen education, stewardship, and collective action for a more sustainable planet. Andrea completed her bachelor’s in Environmental Studies with a focus on Ecological Restoration and Rehabilitation and a minor in Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo, and has since been involved in several conservation initiatives in the Great Lakes Region. Andrea recognizes the importance of taking an interdisciplinary approach to tackle today’s environmental challenges and aims to engage local citizens to strengthen their relationship with nature and foster a sense of belonging and community.
