Nicola joined the Greater Victoria Green Team in 2025 in the role of Program Assistant. She has an educational background in Environmental Studies and Geography, and has substantial experience in ecological restoration. In the past, she spent time working on field teams restoring local parks, as well as volunteering at many different ecological restoration events through her university. Because of her passion for ecology and conservation, Nicola was drawn to GTC by the prospect of being able to share her passion with members of her local community and by the ability to help them find a sense of belonging in the process. She is motivated by the opportunity to educate people about environmental stewardship and the value of ecological restoration and conservation.
