The Greater Victoria Green Team with funding support from North Saanich Parks Department, worked to remove English Ivy and plant Douglas-fir trees in Quarry Park!

Highlights
- 12 GVGT volunteers were engaged and contributed 35 volunteer hours
- 4 of the volunteers had never removed English Ivy before, while 4 had never planted trees before
- 10 of the volunteers had never been to Quarry Park before.
- We removed approximately 6 cubic metres of English Ivy!
- We revitalized approximately 150 square metres of habitat!
- We planted 9 Douglas-fir trees!
