The Greater Victoria Green Team removed a ton of invasive English Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry from UVic’s Mystic Vale Woods with over 50 volunteers! Thank you to the University of Victoria Sustainability and Campus Planning for partnering with us!

Highlights
- 52 volunteers participated including students from Oak and Orca Bioregional School and Claremont Secondary School. In total 110 volunteer hours were contributed!
- 15 of the volunteers were introduced to removing Himalayan Blackberry or English Ivy!
- 14 volunteers had never been to Mystic Vale Woods before
- We removed approximately 6 cubic metres Himalayan Blackberry and English Ivy from an area measuring 100 square metres!
