Havenwood Park March 10, 2018

A beautiful day was spent helping revitalize Havenwood Park in Colwood by reducing the amount of Scotch Broom and Himalayan Blackberry growth from the park! Thanks to everyone for participating!

Thank you to Carol and Robbie, the Havenwood Park Stewards for making such an impact in the park! Thank you to Wendy from HAT for hosting the Green Team and other volunteers, plus getting all of the yummy food!!!

The Friends of Havenwood Park (FOHP) meet each Friday from 9-11am, and you can drop in anytime to give them a hand!  They send their thanks as well, for all the amazing work accomplished Saturday. If you’re keen to join them, you can contact Carol Brown at carolandbruce@shaw.ca.

HAT usually holds 1-2 restoration events per month. If you would like to learn more about their volunteer opportunities, you can email Wendy at wendy@hat.bc.ca

A big thank you to the City of Colwood for helping fund this activity and others in your area!

Thanks to all GVGT and HAT volunteers for making a big difference: Conway, Derek, Chris, Jennifer, Bryan, Marina, John, Leisha, Matthew, Ty, Wies, Nick, Rachel, Danica, Grayson, Cory, Stephanie, Jessica, Darren, Ava, Lili and Kate!
