Bert Flinn Park March 13 2019

On March 13, 2019, Lower Mainland Green Team volunteers removed English Ivy, and a bunch of other invasive plants (including English Holly, Cherry Laurel, and Himalayan Blackberry) from Bert Flinn Park in Port Moody. It was a fantastic event to kick-off the Spring 2019 LMGT season!

This activity was made possible by the City of Port Moody thank you Angela!

A special thanks to Mr. Baldus, and his energetic science class from Heritage Woods Secondary School for joining us. The class hiked from school (and back!) to participate in the event!

Also, a big thank you to the LMGT leaders Doug and Glenda, our neighbourhood guide, Bob
