Uvic Mystic Vale October 7, 2019

The Greater Victoria Green Team organized an ivy pull with students from the education program at UVic. In total there was 97 participants who worked to remove a HUGE pile of ivy to save a variety of other native plants!

Thank-you to everyone for participating: Jennifer Gunro’s and Dan Geneau’s students! Plus our Green Team volunteers Theresa, Brian and Doreen!

Thank you very much to the University of Victoria Sustainability Office for partnering with us and supporting community engagement and ecological restoration on campus!

The first session was just pouring rain but that didn’t stop 60 of us from having fun!
The second group worked hard and added to the already large pile of invasives! Way to go!
