What people said about their experience

I think this program has a tremendous impact not only on the communities it serves but also for the people that volunteer. It’s a great way to connect people with their surroundings and the history of where they live.

Amanda was an awesome leader for the Victoria Green Team!! Very organized and easy to approach and communicate with. She kept to the timing of the project which ran smoothly.

I felt welcomed today, people were really friendly. I also learned how invasive plants affect the environment, I’m so happy that I can help to protect our environment.

The way the day was arranged. The positive attitudes of everyone. Making a difference at Chase Woods. Breaking up the day with the hike. Staying on schedule. The appreciation expressed.

The sandwiches and the hike to the Split Rock was much appreciated.

I enjoyed getting out in nature and getting hands-on in the dirt. I also loved the company of everyone there. Even though I didn’t know anyone before coming I felt very included and accepted.
