On July 15th, on a hot and sunny Sunday, the Lower Mainland Green Team tackled English Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry at Ruth Johnson Park in White Rock.

Highlights:
- 15 volunteers contributed 43 hours
- We removed 5 cubic metres of Himalayan Blackberry and English Ivy from an area measuring 100 square metres
- 2 trees were rescued from English Ivy strangling them!
- Many of our volunteers walked or biked to the site!
- Some volunteers were talking about checking out Tour de White Rock afterwards together
