The Greater Victoria Green Team with funding support from District of Oak Bay Community Grants program and Canada Post Foundation, organized 30 GVGT volunteers at Uplands Park! We removed invasive Spurge-laurel (Daphne) from this important Garry Oak habitat.

Highlights
- 30 GVGT volunteers were engaged and contributed 90 volunteer hours
- 22 of the volunteers had never removed Daphne before!
- 20 of the volunteers had never been to Uplands Park before.
- We removed approximately 4 cubic metres of invasive plants from an area measuring approx. 100 square metres!
